I hate Raccoons!!!

Arg! I hit a stupid raccoon on the way home from watching Harold & Kumar 2. Now my bumper has a 2 inch crack and the lower grill is broken.

Now I got at least $200 in damage because of it.

*Correction, if bumper is to resprayed, I'm looking at around $400*

If it makes you feel better, my last meeting with one was worse.

Empz, sorry to hear, man. We don't have raccoons out here. But we do have deer, elk, moose, coyotes, badgers, porcupines...any of which can do some damage to our rides. Glad you're safe.

Don't forget the skunks. They can get reasonably large as well.

Spent the afternoon cleaning off the raccoon fur, and repairing my bumper.

Was able to snap the grill back in it's place, though the clips are a little bent. The grill itself pushes against the bumper enough that the pressure keeps the crack 'together'. So it's acceptable, for now!

If the raccoon was bigger, it wouldn't have been such a relatively simple fix. Guess I was lucky.

Haha this reminds me of the time a cop at the collision reporting centre telling me about the story how he hit a deer and it went INSIDE his car through the windshield lol
