Can a grounding kit improve MPG?

Hello all,

A quick question here, i heard many people claiming that installing a grounding kit will add some noticeable hps to an automatic G35..

so it makes me start wondering if installing a ground kit will improve or worsen our MPG? and why..?

any inputs are greatly appreciated......

You should get a better spark, so a slight increase in horsepower and mileage is not out of the question

I didn't notice any significant difference.
Mainly smoother AT shifting.

hello moderator..

Did you get your grounding kit from GroundingGear??
If you did, do you mind to tell me how much you paid for?

They quoted me CAD$180 + $15 shipping while only US $130 to U.S. citizens....

given the current exchage rate, i cant seem to be convinced that i have to pay extra 50 bucks for the exact same stuff..

thanks in advance!

TBH... I didn't perform a diligent tracking for mileage comparison, just didn't notice much change.
& In my business I have access to hypress connectors & low loss cable, so I made my own.

That's cheaper than the materials & time that I put into mine.

I assume you mentioned you were a member here. IIRC he gave us a slight discount. Do I smell a group buy? I noticed a slightly smoother shift after mine was grounded. I'd do it to the next vehicle I buy also if there was a kit for it.

True, I've heard his stuff is top-drawer and plan on getting a 10-wire for myself.

I have his system on my Coupe and have no complaints what so ever. Can't really tell if it helped with fuel economy the way I drive, but it does have a smoother idle and I did notice a bit better throttle response.
You should hit him up for a group buy when we have our Alberta meet.
