I understand Shane.

Remember, it's the customer that matters though.

Yeah, I hear ya Deane. I have no doubt the customer will be happy when she picks her Alty up tomorrow. Being the perfectionist that I am, it's hard to let a vehicle leave the driveway when it's not quite up to your standards though.

Have a good one and post up the final result!

It's nearly a hurricane here last night and this morning. It's +1, raining and very windy. We had a touch of snow last night.

Well, it was a long day finishing the Alty. I started bright and early so I could go have a Lobster supper for Mother's day. All in all, it turned out pretty good, especially considering what it originally looked like. I did another pass with Menzerna PG and then followed it up with Poorboys SSR1 to remove the hazing left from the PG. After that came a coat of Menzerna FMJ. The customer was ecstatic so I guess that's all that matters.

I took some pictures outside after I was done and was about to move it back in my garage to put it under the halogen light but the customer came and I didn't have a chance. I'll post up what pictures I have later tonight.

Can't wait to see the after shots. Question though; does SSR 2.0 work just as effectively as SSR 1.0 to remove the haze after using a heavy cut polish?

Good for you Shane. I'm sure it looks fantastic compared to what it did.

Here are a few pics. I wish I would of had a chance to get it back under the halogen lights again as it would of been great for my business pictures......oh well. I am sure I would of still seen some light spider webbing if I were to put it under the halogen light again, but it definitely looks far better than before.

That looks so amazing and considering how it looked before she put it in yours hands makes it even more impressive. Great job!
BTW, I sure hope she takes better care of it. Did she happen to ask you for any advice on how to properly wash it?
