Its been down for a while..unknown as to why.

 

g35.ca comes up for me, but can't get to the message board, is that what you're seeing? Maybe it's kaput.

 

Okay you guys have confirmed what I have been seeing. The main splash page works, but the links to the board lead no where...

Actually Gordgee is either a mod or an Admin on that board.

Hmm, I PMed Gord a day or two ago on a different subject, nothing back.

PS: not hatin' on Tronna (much), my grandfather was from there and that's how he always pronounced it. He was even a LEAFS fan. He used to talk about sledding down some hill downtown and across the trolley tracks. He was a crazy old bugger and we used to have a lot of fun together. Never did know exactly where he lived in TO. Came out to Alberta to work in the natural gas fields as a pipefitter.

 

I was told it was hacked and the Admin's were notified, but damn its taking a long time to get it back up.

If hackers go in they can do a lot of damage that can be very difficult to diagnose and repair. Do you know what software the forum is on? vBulletin? phpbb?

I wonder what part they hacked, if it was the Admin CP the repairs should be simple (provided that they didn't hard delete all the posts), but if they hacked into the php admin site they'll probably need to restore it from a back up or reinstall completely.

I'm a Supporting Admin on that board and Gordgee is a Moderator there. I've notified the Admins but I'm not sure where they are at in trying to restore the site. Not sure which part was hacked into either.

 

Yea, I'm member on G35.ca too....I just hope all 500-600 of my posts are still there once it it's restored
