Replacing in cabin air filter

Saw the video DIY today and Ian do it one time maybe a year ago. Does it matter what year the G is? The vid was for a 1st gen.
Any suggestions for the filter itself, OEM or aftermarket. Regular/Carbon. Where to get it. Seems doable. Stealer wants $100.
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to find the filter for under $30. Install is very easy and should take you 10-15 minutes. All you need is a phillips screwdriver. All first gens should be the same. I'm not sure about 2nd. Just google "g35 cabin filter" and you should find a lot of sites to order from.

Found a link to these guys...

I don't know about the quality of the filter but the price seems good.

You guys may want to check out the feedback from the Quebec BMW forums about the company, seems kind of shady, buyer beware;

It just seemed like a rip. It was vacuumed once though. I usually only breathe the air flowing in from the window. now that could explain my cough, eh?

Have to pick one up myself. My parts store charges 30 bucks or so! Anyone know how much the dealerships charge for a PCV? Having a hard time getting one at part stores in my town they don't stock them. I can always get one on-line but prefer not to.
