I heard that too, Deane, but the Infiniti dealer in London (which is partly owned by Brantford Nissan owner) is getting GT-R's in too (they say)..Who knows for sure.....
Their price was so wacked I gave up on it and went looking for the Lex.

At 50K markup I'm surprised they're selling.

 

The original price is out of my league. I'm nearly ready to get into something cheaper than the G.

That would be interesting to see if the Infiniti dealership sells them. The Nissan folks here told me it was just too expensive to sell them and the market was much too limited. There isn't the population base or the wealth of southern ontario.

I read somewhere that Nissan would stay out of it and allow the dealerships whom qualified to set their own prices and to 'regain' some of their initial investment needed to market the GT-R.
I read somewhere else that it was out of Nissan's hands and that they had no control over what the dealers charged..... -- who knows...

Agreed that $50k is retarded and none of us would bite but their probably are some who have deep pockets and wouldn't think twice....
I'd be damned it I'd spend any more than MSRP.....to hell with them.
I'm impatient at times but patient enough to wait for the initial excitement to abate....

The new IS-F is a new an much inproved model, but Lexus dealers didn't see the need or was temped to mark it up.. AFAIK...
