Deane, here is a list I recieved in the mail of Dealerships that will be selling the GTR in Canada:

Alberta
Brasso Nissan
Fish Creek Nissan
Sherwood Nissan
Stadium Nissan
Sunridge Nissan
West End Nissan

British Columbia
Jonker Nissan
Morrey Nissan of Coquitlam
Regency Nissan
Richmond Nissan
West Coast Nissan

Ontario
401 Dixie Nissan
Alta Nissan Woodbridge
Brampton North Nissan
Oakville Nissan
Avenue Nissan

Québec
Spinelli Nissan
Grenier Nissan
Chomedey Nissan
Manoir Nissan
Looks like London INfiniti/Nissan isn't on the list.....don't know why..... Maybe they dicided against selling the GT-R.....I don't know....I have't spoken to them for months since I shopped one.... and ended up at Lexus.

I wouldn't be surprised. It sounded like the dealership's initial investment was very prohibitive, so maybe with a limited market coupled with fuel prices and waning market, they decided to not go the GT-R route.....

The other factor was insurance on a GT-R.....My insurance was not put off by my IS-F -- the new rate is within a few $$$$ of the M, but the GT-R I didn't ask about....I wouldn't be surprised if rates were very expensive...

C.

Nice IS-F. Love the tail pipes.

I got blown away by one on Highway 2 south of Calgary. I was doing about 113Km/h northbound and a black IS-F came out of no-where and passed my like I was standing still.

Wow, congrats on the Lex

I am looking at the IS F as well, but in a couple years....I wanna see if the huge mark ups die down in 2010 for the GT-R....then decide if it will be IS F or GT-R for me
But I'm sure there will be something else that will catch my eye in 2 years

Ian, did you get rid of your Z4M??????

I was in at my Nissan dealership Saturday morning getting my oil changed. A really good friend of mine is a salesman there and he got talking about the Versa being such a great seller for them. He was telling me that I could get into a fully loaded Versa SL for $330 taxes in. This is a buy and not a lease. A lease would be $260 taxes in. If I wasn't in a lease right now with my G, I would be VERY tempted to pick up a loaded Versa as my DD and then head to the States to get my S2000 for my weekend toy. I could literally lease 3 loaded Versas for the same price I am paying for my G.

Sorry to hear you let the Bimmer go Ian, however I completely understand. I'll be making some changes next time around myself. It's funny how your priorities in life are forever changing.

Surprisingly it wasn't a difficult decision; like you said priorities.
Besides.... I'm optimistic about where things might lead to.
