Date Aug 24 Sun.....a week before the Labour Day long weekend.
A bit early....but I really want to guage the amount of interest before I jump into a bit more detailed planning.....
A suggestion from another member:

8:00am - meet at white spot downtown on Georgia for breakfast.
9:30am - depart for Whistler
10:30am - coffee at starbucks in Squamish
11:00am - leave squamish
12:30pm - get to whistler, and have lunch
3:00pm - leave Whistler
6:00pm - get back to Vancouver and decide if people want to have dinner or go home.

Obviously, nothing is written in stone.....please add your 2 cents
I plan to post this in several other forums & there's already considerable interest. This will be FUN!!

depending on the interest ill come down but 8am is a bit to early dont u think

 

^ personally 8am isn't too early, i think it's will be great to have breakfast then go for cruise, stop in Squamish for coffee & pics, then to Whistler for lunch & pics etc etc....but you're in Calgary...10 hours away?

So, anyone has any info on the sea to sky condition? I haven't been on that road since winter. If it's still crappy I'll probably pass otherwise me and my buddies are in (mind a couple of non-G drivers?)
