My G Doesn't Like Lifts

In the few months that I've had my G, i've had a crazy time with it. I'm beginning to think its cursed!

When I first got it (March '08), I took it to Yorkville Infiniti to get the freon topped up. But they left the door open on the lift, and when they raised it, they basically twisted the door off. (They were really good about the whole thing, got me set up with an EX for a few weeks, and replaced the door. They also didn't charge me for the freon and labour).

Next, I took my G to GRD Performance to have my coilovers installed. When my car was on the lift, a FedEx truck backed into their power pole, and took out the power to their entire shop. My car was stranded on their lift for a good nine hours (nothing happened to my car - and they gave me a discount on the work - they are top notch guys). They posted some pics over here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1559376

Now today, I took my car for service at Oakville Infiniti to have an oil change. And low and behold, the compressor for their lifts blew out while my car was on the lift. A simple alignment/oil change ended up taking four hours.

Thanks for listening/reading....

Spooky stuff with your G.

I would be a bit worried getting on elevators with that stuff happening around you

Interesting. Odd, but still interesting.

Makes me wonder, how has your luck been (personally, I mean). Any oddities or the such?

Sucks about the door, but at least everyone has been really good about it and compensated you in some fashion.
