Canadian Users - Garmin Nuvi 770 for $389.95 @ GPSCity.ca

Hi All,

I just wanted to extend this promotion to all my fellow Canadians. We are selling the Garmin Nuvi 770 at an incredible price of $389.95. You will not find a lower price than this in Canada for this unit, and it is even a lower price than most other units that have less features! The Nuvi 760 for example is $399.95.

Previously, I've seen this unit for $439.99 from Costco, but $389.95 is far and away the lowest price we've seen for this GPS unit so far. Shipping looks reasonable as well - $12.76 for ground shipping.

For the unfamiliar, the Nuvi 770 is among Garmin's top of the line products (only recently replaced as the top of the line product by the 800 series) and comes with a lot features:
  • super-bright 4.3" LCD touchscreen display
  • text-to-speech
  • Bluetooth
  • FM transmitter
  • traffic
  • track log recording
  • multi-destination routing
  • one-touch "Where Am I?" feature
  • MP3 and audiobook playback & more

In October 2007, GPSmagazine.com gave the Nuvi 760 (functionally the same as the 770 minus European maps) a score of 4.7/5 and called it "an outstanding navigator" and "the best GPS on the market today". Bear in mind the Nuvi 760 cost around $800 at the time, while the 770 was closer to $1000.

Cool, where'd she get it? We got some OEM/refurbs for that price point on a buyout from a big-box retailer a while ago, so I'm always interested in getting better pricing (I'm Canadian's boss... is that a conflict of interest? )

As for these... well, we just slammed Costco at their own pricing, so I'm cool with it. The retail on them is a good deal higher right now ($590 at the cheapest), and the exchange rate's flipped so we're allowing our CA customers to grab them at lower than US pricing. If it's not your cup of tea, no biggie, but every so often we just offer stuff at-cost as a 'good will' sort of thing. Just passing it along to anyone who wants it. On that note, if anyone has any particular requests I can organize something.

As GeoBau said, thats great and I'd like to know where she got it. I highly doubt it is a 760 though, as that is well below the cost for any entity selling these things, unless they were literally given away or were tied in with some other promotion (buy a TV, get $100 off a GPS or something).

Must be used/refurbished or the guy is actually losing money on selling them, because I can truthfully and honestly say that no one else besides Garmin themselves would be able to sell a brand new Nuvi 760 at that price without losing any money.

Any thanks for you GPSCity customers..if you guys need anything just hit me or GeoBau up.

Okay, I've got like a dozen or so that I'm ripping through... we just don't want the stock and if we lose money, so be it.

$99 for TomTom OneXL units. This is the ONLY place I'm posting. As an authorized reseller, we cannot sell them on eBay, etc. but if you wanted to I'm sure you'd come out on top. I think they're $150 on Amazon.
