Best place to buy Porter-Cable 7424 in Canada?

eshine.ca is out of stock, Crappy Tire's price is WAY high and all others seem to be in the States. I can get it shipped for $US240 including:

* Porter Cable 7424
* 6" Backing Plate
* 6" Counter Weight
* 1x Yellow Cutting Pad
* 2x Orange Light Cutting Pads
* 2x White Polishing Pads
* 2x Black Finishing Pads
* 2x Blue Fine Finishing Pads
* 3x Snappy Clean Pad Cleaners

Anybody seen it for a better price? Amazon.com has just the polisher for $US130, but then you have to add all the above and it probably comes out the same. I've been checking the Marketplace, too.

You might want to check some of the local stores. I was suprised to find out that a local vendor was selling it cheaper than eshine with extras to the boot as well.

Just bought the Flex VG304 buffer from Detailed Image. I also have the PC7424 and have been using it religiously for 3 years.

The flex simply destroys the PC7424. I took out swirls that I thought would never come out. My paint looked better after I polished it with SIP & 1066FF and the Flex and had nothing else on it than it did after I polished, glazed, sealed and waxed the paint. The machine has so much torque, it is almost hard to control.

I'm still going to use the PC to do smaller jobs but for polishing, the flex is absolutely awesome.

Just my 0.02 cents.

Ordered! 7424 along with 5 pads and 32oz of Menz 106 (thanks for the recommendation, Shane!)

Hope it's still warm enough by the time it gets here for me to use it!

Good stuff Wayne. You won't have any regrets shelling out the money for the PC, pads, and polish as it's worth every penny. The 0106FF is a fantastic polish and it finishes down extremely well. You won't be disappointed and your EM Sedan is gonna look awesome. Let me know if I can help any further.

Good decision Wayne. Welcome to the club.

Your car is gonna love you.

I haven't done a proper detail on mine since June of '07. If you post up pics of yours afterward maybe that will inspire me.
