It's just another pic of a completely stock ride

Took delivery of my '05 6MT IP Sedan today and as I drove it home I remembered why I liked my old '04 6MT Brilliant Silver Sedan. It doesn't have the NISMO kit, but the paint matched bottom of the front bumper and paint matched side sills makes the 1st gen sedan a lot nicer looking than my '04 sedan, IMO.

Having just owned and sold a Z, I was surprised at how nicely the G shifted. In fact I think the shifting was smoother than the Z. The nice quiet cabin and the comfort of the 45 series rubber was a welcome change from the noisier/firmer/harsher ride of my Z and its 35 series rubber. I really enjoyed the ride - more luxurious. The car felt fairly fast, and the exhaust note was nice for a stock exhaust.

The stock wheel gap is there and the OEM sport 18 wheels are...okay. The car would look nice with a set of G37 Sport 19's (the offsets will fit the car no problem), and a set of Pro Kit's and some clear corners should keep the car looking sporty but clean. Now all I gotta do is find some G37 wheels for sale.

I'm a G family member...again!

Great looking sedan, Joel. If you do decide to ditch those sport 18s, lemme know, I've been looking for some.

I know, I'm like the 'rims panhandler' of Driver...

LOL, if everyone calls you that you put dibs on their rims, you are going to have a bigger inventory than Tire Rack

Will do. Although right now, the plan is to see if I can secure a set of G37 Sport 19's as the summer wheels, and the sport 18's as the winter wheels. But if I end up deciding to ditch the sport 18's, you'll be the first to know. Cheers.

Thanks Christian - I'd have to agree with you. I really like the contrast between the IP paint and the graphite interior.

Thanks! Fortunately the front end was wrapped in 3M, so the soft Nissan paint didn't take as much of a beating as I was scared it would be for a 3 yr old car. The paint overall is okay, not perfect by any means, and could probably benefit from a detail to get all of the swirls out of the clear coat.
