I miss it but my wife drives an Altima SE-R with the 3.5L so I drive it once in a while in the winter but I still miss the BOOST.

How do you guys do it?

I was gone for 2 weeks driving the wife's rx-8 through the mountains ( f u n )in the summer and the first thing I did when I got home was hug my G and take her for a drive.

I figure winter tires and the assumption it's going to rust a couple years earlier (I can't imagine selling her) is worth having my baby all year long.

Bravo gentlemen. Bravo. Hope they enjoy their sleep

Yeah, I put mine away for 2 weeks now. I miss it. I'm rocking the '00 civic sedan 5spd. it's nice to get some fuel efficiency, but not nice to loose the luxury and the power. the 106 raging horses at the flywheel of the civic just doesn't compare to the G35.
when does this 12 step program start!! lol

I am a jackass, I drive mine all year long...lol... I wish I could put it away and do mods threw out the winter... But that is the price you pay for having a 68 Firebird that can only be driven in the summer... To many toys....

Shilohap, post away. For most of us the gen 1 G35 still looks great and we don't tire of looking at it. My car will be going to it's winter home in another 10-14 days or so.

Ian, great looking mod. I wouldn't have expected anything less from you! Anything that makes the Infiniti clutches feel better underfoot is a good thing. I've mostly gotten used to the on/off feel of mine.

just got back from europe, as soon as i got home the first thing i did was taking my g to a ride. after driving diesel engines (which are actually not that bad nowadays with a lot of torque) my car felt like a supercar i was like a little kid who stole his dad s car.

when u drive the g for quiet sometime u actually forgot its power and capacity.this actually reminded me how powerful my car is. brought my jet lagged eyes joy again . but sad to see snow is coming soon again. i am probably spending a lot of my time with my g in the garage thinking of some mods to welcome the spring.

1-either powdercoat black my 18 oem rims(i have to find a body shop in gta)
or g37 stock rims (dunno how much would the spacers would cost me,besides the rims r quiet expensive) or a nice black rim (good style of course)
3-jdm corners,
4-spoiler,
5-detailing (detailing will look like a mod on my never detailed 5yr old g )

the g's been delegated to weekend duty, for now, untill i wuss out of taking the bus to work, but yeah, it doesn't get babied, have no garage, and no other car. besides, what's the point in garaging a 10k$ car?
