G35c in snow?
Re: G35c in snow?
PM telegramsam (aka purplepiepete). He has a coupe with winter tires on. I think he posted re the winter handling on the 'Coupe' forum as well. You can do a search under his name.

Re: G35c in snow?
I've got 17" Yokohama snows on my Coupe and like them a lot. I didn't do a lot of driving in the snow but what I did do, I felt very confidentwith the car. It felt very stable and predictable.
Another local fella (TripleQ) has Blizzak LM-22's on his and he likes them too.
We're in southern Ontario and get a fair amount of snow.

Re: G35c in snow?
Yes, like the coupe owner formerly known as gsedanman said, I have LM-22's on and have had no problems. If I do anything silly, the VDC kicks in and corrects it... just don't be stupid and the car will be great in the snow!
Re: G35c in snow?
I have Pirellis on my G35c-VDC not the best in the world but the car behaves reasonably well. A lot of people are under the mistaken impression you need front wheel drive to go in the snow-not true-modern winter tires and stability systems make rwd excellent.
Re: G35c in snow?
i have snow tires on mine they billzacs and they are on some 17s. The car handles ok but if there is more then 3 inches down on the road and its unplowed you can forget about going any ware. I have found that anything over 2500 rmps and you will go side ways. Also you may have to turn the VDC off to get your car moving. I found my self sitting for a good 40 seconds with my wheels spinning and me not going any ware. So remember turn the VDC so get started on ice or somthing then turn it back on once you are going again. Hope that helps.
