^haha, good one. Snow is all I would have thought of.

We had a pretty good dump ourselves on Saturday. Fortunately it's nearly half gone now and hopefully with some warm days ahead we'll see green again.

 

You guys have been hit with a fair amount of snow lately!

Edmonton is having a particularly mild fall with warm weather and virtually no snow. In fact, no snow on the ground at all right now and a forcast of 9° C for this Sunday! I've got my new Xi2s on and waiting for the white stuff to see how they do!

 

i would assume early to mid december since i saw an ad from telus using the storm.

 

Its going to be launched december 1st at telus if all things go smoothly

The release date is all over the place, it sounds like it'll be the week of Dec 8th. There's rumor saying that Bell might release the Storm as well, anyone heard of that?

 

hmmm.... i was thinking about picking up a storm for myself... but seeing all the bad publicity about memory leaks and the horrible lag with the os.. i'm going to wait and see what future firmware's bring. my sister has the bold and seems to run fairly well now that she updated the firmware. when she first got it there were a few bugs especially with the browser.

 

i decided to get the touch pro, its much better than the storm i feel, heres a video review of the Storm in action.

Im pretty sure that bell will release one too, but not right away, same with rogers, but not till after telus has exclusive rights for the first little while. Im guessing that no one else except telus will get it till after christmas atleast.

 

I agree touch pro with slide out QWERTY is the way I'd go.
It's also the fastest Win Mobile I've seen to date.

 

Storm doesn't have wifi, that's a no-no for me.

I'm looking at Sony Xperia X1 or HTC Touch HD. Storm looks good, but wifi is definitely a must.

 

Yep, Bell is releasing it too. They even registered a new domain name for it: http://storminfo.ca/.

 

Telus and Bell will get the Storm first. As of now, Rogers will release it in Q3 2010 at the earliest.

I picked up the Bold a month ago and am very impressed! Blackberry is already busy working on the next models, one which will be like a Storm (touch screen) + slideout keyboard and wi-fi, amongst all other Bold features.
Can't wait for that one!

 

This is what i heard also i asked telus rep 2x if the storm will have wifi and he told me YES

I heard alot of bad reviews about the storm but i think it's mostly iphone users hating on it as it's been called the "iphone killer"
