Snow tires make a HUGE difference.

I knew that snow tires obviously made a difference in the winter time, but I personally never had them on the G before until this year. The snow is coming down hard right now so I decided to go out for a spin in the fresh stuff. All I can say is - wow. I've never felt so confident driving in snow before. No slippage at all, the traction control light didn't even blink once, took corners with tremendous ease, and the list goes on and on as my smile grows. To all you people who still haven't gotten snow tires, or don't believe in getting snow tires, get some now.

I have Yokahoma Ice Gaurds on my G35x currently and I for one will always be sporting snow tires every winter.

Great to have another believer amongst us

It's so true, once you drive a vehicle with the new technology winter tires you will never want anything else in the white slippery stuff.
Did you try hammering on the brakes in the snow hullio....that is unnnnnnnnbelievable

Dang, just had a drink (double) so won't be able to go out tonight, great idea.
I had the snows put on last Thursday, found some slippery sidestreets and the difference was amazing.
All that said, can't wait for spring to put the sports back on, quite the difference also in that respect!
Will definitely go out for a spin in the morning, even if working from home.

I have snow tires on my wifes Altima 3.5L SE-R and it makes a huge difference. However here in Alberta we still have on snow this year so I could have left her summers on till December .

I was driving confidently with my LM-25s today even with all the nasty rain/snow coming down in the GTA. I still had to be careful with the throttle otherwise the back end would start to fishtail, but the difference is worth the price I think. I wish I could compare them to a hardcore winter tire like the WS-50s or the Ice Guards.

I agree, snow tires make a big difference. After talking to a few of my friends they went and bought some over the weekend.
