projectors revisited - any canadian successfully installed 06-07 projectors on 03-05?

So has anyone here succesfully been able to install 06-07 coupe projectors on their 03-05 canadian spec G35 coupe?

I have heard stories of US Spec projectors not being exactly plug and play - they will fit physically, harnesses will plug in just fine, but there are issues with operation (due to different DRL circuits, etc).

If anyone has been able to successfully install the projectors, can they please let me know of any tips? Otherwise I will have a set of brand new 07 projectors for sale soon

Got mine installed with the help of a friend. We managed to get everything working except the daytime running lights. The signals and everything work properly. I don't know enough about it to finish the job so I said good enough for the girls I go with.

Maybe - I think it is worth it. With the instructions, the average guy could proablly do both headlights in a couple of hours going carefully and taking their time. Now that I have been through it once, I probablly could do both in an hour.

one hundred billion dollars

Seriously - since I'm in Ottawa and my car is stored for the winter, I'm not sure how I could test that they work assuming you mailed me your headlights and I would send them back.

i installed them...only thing you had to do is use the ballast from 03-05...no need to rewire anything
