Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells.........

Yikes, I don't know how everyone else is making out today but is it aweful here in Cambridge. Had a lot of snow already and expecting much more and then they're talking about Sunday and into next week too

I'm busy driving Margaret to her clients and she's talking about calling off the rest of the day. I said we'd keep going with locals only and call off the remotes.

Be careful out there fellow G's.......

Colin.

Oh, another Cambridge guy, and he's an administrator! Hi Colin!
It was a slippery drive into work this morning. Glad I don't have to drive too far. I'm hoping they tell us to go home soon!

Might be better that way, Bill. It'll give 'em a chance to catch up on the snowclearing...

Good luck when you do get free, and take it slow.....

How much snow are you expecting out there?

We've just made it through a week of severe windchill warnings, extremely cold temperatures and lots of snow. That's a very unusual mix, normally we get the cold or the snow, but not both at the same time. Last weekend Calgary Transit had so many LRT trains broken down on the tracks that they were unable to meet their commitment for number of trains available at rush hour 3 days in a row (Normally they don't miss commitment 3 times in a year). Here's our forecast for the next few days:

I'm on the other side of the river, near GCI.
I was just told that I'll need a shovel to get my car out because there's a huge drift behind it!

Yeow. that's pretty chilly especially for not yet Jan or Feb. Hang in there.

We're about -9 now and the strong wind making it feel much colder. Warm compared to you guys but also much colder here than normal.

just got in home an hour ago.

HOLY F&%K!!! that was a drive. Other than having to pull over 3 times to clean the wipers on the highway, it was actually fun. Made me realize that the X was worth the extra $$ when buying the G, especially after I passed a nice 5 series newer model Bimmer with his nose stuck in a snow bank...
Sucker...
I don't know about his tires but he had the original rims (looked like 19's) w/lo-pro tires on (looked like 40 series).

Glad to be home, and the G in one piece.
