bit of a surprise dump here last night, "they" were forecasting 3-5cm, got out this morning to another 6" of (thankfully) powder on the car.

i think the nokians are better on ice than they are in snow/slush/grease, i haven't got terribly stuck yet, but i really need to keep off the brakes and not be afraid to let the back end loose to keep from plowing like a FWD car. i'm used to it, and thankfully my gf is used to me driving like that, but i can just imagine what other motorists think.

now I'm just waiting to see if the freezing rain they've been forecasting will start or not before heading down to my folk's.

ugh, it's getting awfully wet looking out there... no more light fluffy snow that's easy to park in, and no plows for a couple of days either, gonna be fun.

Yes we got around 20 last night also. I was out early 7am to blow the driveway and drats **** I blew the drive belt on the blower. Had to do it all with my snow scoop.
Then I did 2 elderly friends driveways and steps. I stopped for an hour this morning and an hour for lunch and just got home. It's 4:45 PM. I am beat. Time for a few Rickards Reds and wait for Santa. Just going to stay in tonight and perhaps chase Mrs Claus around the house a bit later hehehe

Have a great holiday my friends DOMO

Always a little energy in reserve for that. That's great what you do for your neighbours, Wayne, you deserve a cold brew and a break. Merry Christmas!

^+1 on the help with the neighbours Wayne. I was a good Samaritan a few days ago too.

I'm into the RR myself now. Maybe I'll have to chase Mrs. Claus around here.

Well dang it, I was 'chasin' Mrs. Claus last night which explains why I've got no energy for shovelling today......

Save some boys...It might snow again tomorrow....
