Angry US and Canada options

I have been trying to investigate the differences in options between the US and CA versions of the G37S and I can't understand why there is such a difference between the two markets. For one, the US version of the G37S have all of their options broken out and when you look at the priciing it seems to be more expensive on the dollar without the conversion although still cheaper in the US. Up here we have only two options, but looking into the options most of what was available in the US has been lumped together. This seems to be nice and I am assuming there is some sort of discounting of the components taken as a single option.

My gripe has been with the marketing propaganda crap that we get up hear that certainly does not clearly show as a WYSIWYG. I see a G37S with a OEM body kit with the front spoiler, rear spoiler, side skirts and a nice sleek rear wing like the older G35s not the deck lid spoiler on the new models. Now, after salivating over the look over it, you finally look at the fine print of the brochure. "US equpped model shown", the expeletives just come out and a letter to Infiniti is warranted asking an explanation of the differences in market segments despite knowing cars up here are more expensive than down there.

So I await their repsonce to my request.

Eeyore.

What are you asking? Its as clear as mud. In Canada the models do have less options because more things are offered as standard or as you said offered in a bundle. As far as looks go I was looking at G37s in Canada and the US they are identical looking you can either get them with no spoiler or the little chrome spoiler or a larger body colored spoiler(the best looking one IMO). As far as cost the US has always been much cheaper and no one has ever been able to explain this fully to me they always used the exchange rate as an explanation but we saw that is not the case when the CAN$ was on par. You do need a large savings to justify the 15-20% exchange we have now along with the 10% taxes/duty and the hassels of importing/shipping or going to pick the vehicle up. I bought my car in the US 2.5 years ago when we had a similar exchange rate to now I think by the time I had it in my drive way it was $8000 in exchange, Taxes, Duty, Driving lights, inspections, and transportation.
