Well the cold refuses to leave the Nickel City a brisk -33C here today with the windchill. I think it may be my last winter here. Totally sick of it. Time for a transfer been here since 1996. Took two days off this week and I have no desire to go outside. When Spring comes I have some of the worst roads in Ontario to contend with. It's never ending.

Looks like a break for Wed & Thurs followed by four days of overnight lows of -22, -29, -26 and -31 in that order.

Yeach. You sound like you need a break or a change.

It's +1 here now. Our snap finally ended a few days ago although I'm sure we'll have a few more cold days yet.

Understandable, bro.....down here it's cold , up there it's worse. Marg lived in Powassan just south of North Bay for many years, and some of the winter stories she tells me make me shiver......

Enjoy the 'warm' spell....Sounds like the deep freeze is returning....

I'm actually looking to get my *** back down East. I'm putting my name in for a transfer to Dartmouth or Halifax. I flew down two weeks ago for a family related issue and didn't want to leave as usual. Cheers!

Good stuff bro. That's nice to be able to transfer. We'd also be able to build our Atlantic Canada G registry.

Our weather isn't perfect either but the lifestyle and geography sure is inviting.

Sudbury potholes! Video from last winter. The video doesn't do the roads in Sudbury any justice. The video makes them look like freshly paved roads. They are in reality much, much worse.
