I'm looking at an 05 Coupe. It does not have the factory NAV system nor a Sirius box. Can these be added ? Any idea what $$ I'm looking at if I am able do add them ??

where are you looking at this coupe... i have an 05 coupe that was for sale and could be for sale... you looking for an auto or manual and what color?????? is you wanna go nav, go aftermarket with the dd kit

 

an 05 is what I'm looking for..low kms..black on black preferred...6MT preferred, (what's a "dd kit"?)

 

After market would be a better choice as you can get a nice nav head unit that integrates nicely into the car. The DD kit is a dual din kit that would go in your centre stack replacing the area where the stereo head unit is not as it is integrated into the console there. The DD would allow for a dual din aftermarket unit.

I havn't looked much into it yet as I like my bose for now. But I am sure there are some aftermarket ones to purchase, but they one I have liked from seeing it online is the JDM Infiniti item that replaces the climate control ***** and the stereo area and is direct plug and play. It is $279us on ebay from riverside infiniti, but the people on here who know more could probably help more than I can.

I'm going to get a tint, new Falken tires and a Jolly Roger front licence plate this year, nothing too crazy! Oh! and a new CD deck faulty Clarion head unit.

Go with the Kenwood DNX8120... DVD, Nav, Siruis, Bluetooth. Its an amazing double din. Had mine installed at Audioheaven in Richmond Hill, great job and service. Tell him Shawn with the g35 sent you. He is actually having a massive sale Feb 6th 7th, up to 50% off products, so might be worth your time to stop by. Also, when changing to aftermarket the sound quality on the bose takes a sh*t kicking, so if you want to quality, you will have to sub out the speakers and amp, and replace with aftermarket. This will actually give you a better sound than Bose if done right. Getting my speakers changed very soon at AH.

well where ever you're located I hope you have a decent installer or are capable of doing it yourself. if you're decent with hand tools let me know I can try to help you out with the install.
