A good method I've used twice when picking up new rims:
On my way across the border I said that I'm going to the race track (cant remember the name) Then I got them installed at a shop in Niagara Falls, NY and on my way back when he questioned the 4 tires in my G I just said they are my track wheels lol. "Ok sir, have a nice day"

I ordered my COR Forged wheels through this site www.vipwheelz.com and his quote actually on par with US prices, the other quotes from CDN dealers were ridicuous, saved myself just under $1400... AND I got my car on COR's gallery!!! 
anyways just throwing that out there... it won't hurt getting a quote because he lists no brokerge or duty surprises
