Sprint Booster

Hey guys, not sure if anyone has heard of this, but this is a product which is gaining notoriety. The spring booster helps increase throttle response for those of us with drive by wire throttle bodies. If you feel you have lag in the throttle this little item may just be what you need to get rid of that. These retail for 329.99 US but if anyone is interested i can get them for 299.99 CDN. If you are outside the GTA a nominal shipping charge could be added.

For the skeptical ones out there here is a writeup from October/08 Pasmag article on the findings after installing on a 350z.

Also you can look up sprint booster on the BMW and mercedes forums, and I will try to find the link again for the porsche cayman forum which did a huge write up including the 5 minute install.

Sprint Booster

Just for everyone`s info, I installed a Sprint Booster for my 04 G35 6MT and it does work. Is it worth $300 bones - I dunno. However it`s important that you get the right Sprint Booster for your vehicle. For example, the mapping on the Sprint Booster model designated for manual transmissions is more aggressive than those designated for automatic transmissions. In other words, you can use the Sprint Booster (auto tranny) in a vehicle with manual tranny, however you cannot use a Sprint Booster (manual tranny) in a vehicle with an auto tranny.

You can buy these from Vic Simone (Simone`s Performance Imports in Newmarket) for about $300 and I don`t believe he charges anything to install them (installation is extremely easy and pretty difficult to screw it up).

Depending how happy I am with my turbo, I may pick one of these up, 300 isn't bad for a lil more fun off the line

I have one of these installed on a '03 Coupe 6MT, noticed the difference in throttle response immediately. You can also get this item at Tires23 in Mississauga Billy won't charge for installation as it takes less then 10mins.

The blitz "requires some wiring", whereas the spring booster is plug and play.

If you guys are interested, I may be able to get these at a lower price. But it's one of those company's that don't allow their product to be "advertised" at a price lower than 299.99. Pm me for a better price.

I'd start a group buy, but I'm not sure if that is allowed or not.

Hey guys, I asked my parts guy if he could do special pricing. Regular price is 329.99CDN. That price will be going up very soon. They are supposed to sell for 329.99 US, if you figure that out it works out to just over 400 CDN.
The new price will be going up to 369.99 CDN to become more in line with the US prices. If you want one for less than retail price pm me and i'll let you know how low I can go.

And in case you are wondering "what's in it for me?" I get a better discount in the summer when I save the cash for my coilovers for my maxima.

So in other words, I can't do a group buy, but I can keep the lower price for a few weeks I hope.
Give me a PM for the $details$.
