2 months and less than 1500km...

And I say goodbye to my g35. I've barely even introduced myself on here yet!!!

I got t-boned last Tuesday on the passengers side and got my car banged up pretty good. 20g's worth of damage. Got the call from the insurance company that they're writing off the car. Luckily there was nobody in the passengers seat because that would have been serious bad news.
It sucks that I JUST spent about 700 bucks getting all the parts for my navi system to play video and backup camera. Have almost everything sittin in my room aside from the audio adapter...Guess I won't be going to any of the 604 meets comin up!

Drive safe guys, Vancouver drivers are morons.

ouch, glad ur ok. g/l with the new purchase. i hope you were not at fault. try c/l & the marketplace to sell your parts.

the lower mainland will never recover from the buy-me-a-license scandal that was exposed in Richmond years ago. who knows how many people bribed their way into a driver's license. and judging by the (in)ability of some of the new drivers on the road, i doubt if bribery has been completely eradicated.

Sorry to read that minhas. You're fortunate you weren't hurt and the other seat was empty.

G/L with the new ride.

Sorry to hear, at least everyone's ok. Any idea what you'll be replacing it with?

I didn't even know about, but that's crazy. Almost seems like we have one of those around here.

Ahh man, sorry to hear about that. Good to hear that you're okay. I'm sure you'll be able to sell the Nav stuff you bought.

What kind of car are you thinking about getting now?

Thanks guys. I am ok, no serious injuries. I have lower back and neck pain, bruised ribs and a nasty headache, but it coulda been alot worse. The driver of the other car was ok (i think) but his wife in the passenger's seat broke her ribs. It was an older couple who missed a stop sign and came right onto a main road. ICBC immediately ruled in my favour, which was nice. Even though you know there was nothing you could do to avoid it, theres always the chance that you'll get partial blame for it.

I did get checked out a couple of times, was taken to the hospital in an ambulance on a spineboard as a precautionary measure and have seen my doctor. I want to be sure I dont have lingering injuries.

I definitely do want to pick up another G, but we'll see how much ICBC gives me for the car and what I can find on the market. Fingers crossed that I can find one similar to mine!

my parents were in a car accident 2 years ago and my mom still feels some of the injuries so get checked out regularly for about 6 months or so.

wen i got rear ended the "black book" stated for an 05 coupe it was 27k so its not to bad im sure you can pic up a really nice G for that money now but im not sure if the prices change every year. gl tho!

Wow... the only thing I can say is that you are lucky that you're still alive and walking. A friend died in a car crashed and another friend's father is paralyzed for life from a car crash.
