Stored car owners come in
I thought I would start a thread dedicated to everyone bringing their cars back out of hibernation.
Mine came out yesterday and is at home now. DOMO
I'll probably be bringing it back to storage tomorrow for another week until the following weekend.
I unexpectedly got blocked in storage this year with my car so was unable to get it out during the winter. My battery wasn't disconnected and for the first year it was stone dead when I went for pick up. The alternator wasn't capable of charging it driving and it wasn't taking an AC charge well, so after nearly 5 years I went out and bought a replacement. The old one held a charge overnight but just doesn't seem as strong and I don't like surprises. Today she got that new juice box, her oil/filter changed and clutch fluid flushed.

Mine has been parked in my garage all winter with weekly startups to move it around a bit so it doesent get flat spots and to check the battery. Just did an oil change a few days ago and want to still change the diff and tranny fluid before I take it out in 2 weeks. Then it will be off to the carwash for a long cleaning to make it all spring fresh.

I just put my car back on insurance for tomorrow (first day of Spring!). Supposed to be "warm" on sunday so i'll probably take it out for a nice spirited drive then to get rid of any built up moisture.
I'm keeping my winter car on insurance for another month and i'll drive that on any of the colder days. Don't like driving my g35 with my summer tires unless its around 10 degrees Celsius or more.

but there has been a lot of info & discussion on that topic.
It might be worth checking them out.
