Well took her for a little drive tonight....blew something up? When I parked it there was steam coming from under the hood on the passenger side. I couldn't see any thing but there was some oil under the car so i think it might be power steering related. I may not get to drive it under boost at all this year.

Jesus, that's some heart and dedication. I'd have given the car a trojan funeral when the headgasket popped. Props man, can't wait to see this thing in action.

damn high end FI is so much work, need a lot of dedication to be pushing those numbers.... speaking of numbers, I love the 620 torque digits, torque excites me more than HP any day of the week.

so when about do you think this project will be complete fully so you can drive your car daily ? are you planning on daily driving it or just have it as a weekend car ?

Good to hear Gord. Hope you have better luck this time, and I hope you don't need that giant tow hook in the front.

Now get rid of that JWT intake and get a proper dual intake for the turbos. I have the MAF adapters, so if you need them welded to your charge pipe (just before the TB) let me know.

I left out the small aggravations . I put new fans on the rad and when I bolted the AC condensor down I over tightened the bolt and it made a hole in the rad of course I didn't notice until after the rad was full . I also had a crack in an oil feed line that needed to be removed and replaced. it was not an easy task to say the least. Luckily I had Dustin and Anthony (another friend of mine) to help with this round i was honestly so sick of the car this time around I just didn't have the energy i had in the past for this round.

No MAF for this guy! I even took the hook out last week and put the plug back in, more confidence than my last time out. Thanks for the offer on the MAF adaptors, time got out of hand this time so we might not do the dual intakes until winter Anthony said to pie cut everything and weld it will be a week of work!

Awesome build so far, you're almost there It sucks that its taken so much to get it running again, but I'm sure you'll soon forget about it with those new turbos haha. I'm looking at getting a V88 eventually for a new project, did you get yours from Lightspeed? If you don't mind, could you please PM me how much you paid for it?

I don't know where the receipt is off hand, i am not sure it even has the cost of the unit because I was the first VQ35 powered car to try the V-88 they just did a package where the unit, my install, tuning and hook up of some fancy features was all one price. I think they are about $2,400 (don't quote me I got it over 2 years ago now) I did get it from Lightspeed.
