A little update red35 (Dustin) and I have been working at dressing the engine and installing it all weekend. We finally got the engine in the car at 04:00 this morning. Then we noticed the driver side turbo touches the steering shaft and we are not sure how we are going to get the down pipe on that side either. But we have made huge progress and hope to be running soon this week maybe.

Ok so it was a long day thing the turbo didn't touch the steering shaft and the down pipe slipped right into place.

Anyway the engine is in now its just hooking things up again. A huge thanks to Dustin for spending his whole weekend helping me out.

It could be done today but i am going to Quebec for work so I am trying to spend some time with the fam before I leave Monday. So Anthony from Lightspeed is going to finish the fuel lines and exhaust for me while I am gone and we will fire it up as soon as I get back on the 27th.

I haven't really figured the cost I am scared to. I would guess easily over $30,000 for this round of mods. The car had the JWT 530bb kit before, body kit, wheels, clutch and coilovers. So this round was the engine, 850bb turbos, down pipes, 3.3rear with Quafie LSD, PWR rad, 1000cc injectors twin fuel pumps, fuel return, cosworth intake, EMS installed & tuned, water/meth kit, BBK, SPL end links, SPC camber kits, crank dampner, new tires all around and tons of little things lots of $100 here $100 there type of stuff that is starting to kill me.

I started in December ordering parts and getting the EMS installed. I pulled the engine in March then there were a few hold ups with psrts that slowed progress down. Since I have had all of the parts I have been working on it weekends and evenings (from 6pm till usually 3-4am i drag a$$ at work everyday though)for about a week i started last Friday to dress the engine install the turbos with oil and cooling lines and the engine. The BBK and rear end were already installed while i was waiting for other parts to come and thats when I took the time to polish the engine cover. I would say a DIY guy could do it from start to finish in a couple weeks if you had all parts on hand.

So today I bled the brakes and installed the sway bars, SPL end links, GT Spec braces a few other little things that I didn't need to do for the car to run but still had to be done. i forgot my camera i was going to snap a few shots it actually looks like a car again.
