Brembo brakes

So I need a brake job and anyone who read my earlier posts this year read that the dealership quote me $4300 for a Brembo brake job.

JRP quoted me 800 for pads and discs, but I ordered some from a place in southern Cali... 480 Can shipped!

I wish I could charge 3600 bucks for labour of changing the easiest brakes available like a dealer...

Where in SoCal did you order your rotors and pads from and what brand were they (cross drilled? slotted? CAD plated?)??

I would also like to know. I want to probably pick up some new pads and/or discs soon, and was looking for some good US places to price parts from as they are pricey here and I was also looking into some other items.

Rotors88... search on ebay for their store, then you need the 350Z Track package Brembo set, they dont have one listed for the G but its the same product.

What do you need for a whole brake kit? Rotors, pads, calipers and brake lines?

+1 That's what I'm curious about. The OE Brembos are high quality. First brakes that I have ever had on a car that have not warped by 40K. Every other car in the last 20 years has had rotors turned or replaced by 5-10K and frequently thereafter.

If you wanna save a buck or two on the pads. Try the Wagner Thermo Quiets. They are excellent and I have them on my Brembo calipers.

Glad to hear you like the ThermoQuiets - I have a full set of four (non-Brembo) that I'll put on eventually.

Come down any time now and we can get you all fixed up. My garage is full but its warm enough to work in the drive way and I am off for spring.

Brakes

On the SR20 forum and in conjunction with my lapping day I've got a GB going on Carbotech brake pads. It's running until April 17 - check it out.
http://www.sr20forum.com/canada/2482...ke-pad-gb.html
G35 Brembo brakes run US $147 to $220 (depending upon what you want in the pad i.e., street to track. http://www.ctbrakes.com/pads/infiniti.html - 20% off if I have commitment for 20 axle sets.
