I use P21S Wheel Gel Cleaner to clean my wheels and Poorboys Wheel Sealant to protect them. Using a protectant like PB's Wheel Sealant or Wheel Wax makes cleaning them and wiping off brake dust much easier.

That was my mistake, I should have used PB on the inside of my rims when I first bought them.
I have no problems maintaining the face of my rims, I want to clean the inside before I put them back on for the summer however I cant seem to get the caked on brake dust off with just soap and water.

Here's some pics that I took right after I used this stuff on two sets of rims today. There are before and after pics. A couple showing the chrome lip for my Sevas rims, and a couple showing it on the entire rim of a Bentley Flying Spur. Can be used for any metal though, these just happen to both be chrome.
My rims need more work still.

Order it from this Ontario distributor : http://www.eshine.ca/poorboys_wheel_sealant-1844.php They are great to deal with and good fast service.
By the way I was around your area today looking for you.
Really any kind of wax will offer some protection on your wheels, I just found those good because they really do seem to repel brake dust and last longer than regular waxes.
