Re: Mags and winter
I've got my snows on seperate wheels. Didn't want the hassle of changing rubber every spring and fall.
My Yokohama snows are on Enkei CDR9 mags and have weathered well. I wax them in the fall and keep them as clean as I can during winter.

I've had the factory 18" rims on for one winter without any problems. Just remember to wax them and you'll be find.
And when you find it on days that they are particularly covered with salt and road grime, go to a self serve auto car wash with a power sprayer.
