Ford won't lease and I don't wanna buy. Lease rates are better than loans.

Think I may try a VW wagon or their Tiguan, as per a buddy's recommendation. Heck, I thought it was over.
IMO, VW's reliability just doesn't cut it compare to Toyotas.

However, hope in the end you get what's right and hope you like it .
^ I agree 100%
I like Vdubs, (owned several) but I wouldn't go any where near them myself.
Dealer network is the absolute worst in the business, if you do a little research.

re Leasing......
If you find something you like but they don't lease,
there are 3rd party leasing companies.

What about Subi Forester Sam?
IDK how they fit the price point, but they're a little cleaner looking than they used to be.

I can't believe they aren't leasing anything. They are going to miss out on so many customers.

^ it's because the industry pushed leasing too hard.
It's one of the reasons they're in trouble now.

We had to retire a six year old Montana and purchased a Toyota Sienna. It's not the Rav4, but with four kids we have no choice but to have a van. I can say it's been 2+ years and have had no problems, the vehicle does what it's supposed to do and we're quite happy with it.

Now I'm thinking we should go for the 6 cyl, but ...........
4 - 179 hp / 172 lb ft torque / 4 speed OD tranny 9.7/7.2/8.6 L/100Km
6 - 269 hp / 246 lb ft torque / 5 speed OD tranny 11.1/7.7/9.6 L/100Km
The six seems a little thirsty in the city.

I don't think 11.1 is that bad. For an suv with 269 horse and is pretty quick I think 11.1 is doable. Better than the G in the city and it takes 87 instead of premium.

I say if you're going to go for the rav4 you should probably go for the 6. Unless you don't plan to ever drive it and it's just going to be the wife's? She probably won't care about how fast it is.

As we get close to the wire I'm thinking the same.

Sam, the extra torque of the 6 is nice too when you have it loaded up with the wife, kids, and the trusty dawg and a few things in the boot.

Hadn't even thought bout that, just about speed. You're so right Wayne. Good convincing point. If we want to take that dog around the city with us "We need the Torque." Yes.
