Insurance

To all ppl that knows about insurance.

I have a camry that is under state farm, and my G35 is not insured ATM because of winter. But now, TD offer me a much better quote then state farm for my G35, so im wondering if its possible to stay with state farm under my camry and go with TD with my G35 but they are both under the same name.

LOL im not sure if i made sense but yeah..

Thanks

I would think so, policy would depend on vehicle not driver. I insured my G with TD last week, very good service and a better rate than I could find anywhere else since I am young.

I dont think it would. They might be able to look up your address and see that you have another car registered there, but since it is already insured it should be no problem. What about insuring the camry though also with TD, you might get a lower rate?

See how much the multi-car discout is with State Farm and the rest of the companies. If you have homeowners/renters insurance, see if you can get multi-line discounts on top of that. Stick with one company and go with quality...State Farm.

State Farm is way too expensive for me, and Belair Direct is actually offering a much better coverage and a lower rate then state farm.
State Farm
Camry: $190
G35x: $280

Belair Direct
Camry: $110 (better coverage)
G35x: $263 (better coverage)

However TD is offering me a lower rate for my G35 as well, so i am so confuse who to choose...hopfully i can bring my G35 down to under 200 a month then i will be happy =D

HI there
I am in the biz and you will never find 2 companies with the same rate.
The ratings for cars vary company to company due to the companies claims experience with a certain car.
The rule of thumb is you get more discounts if you bring more stuff on (eg second car, house, apt).
You would not get a multi car discount if you have only one car with driving coverages on the road. They both need to be on the road to get the multi car discount. Find out the rate on both vehicles for their driving time and do what you think is the best.
I would not bother putting one with one company and the other somewhere else.
Just keep them together because if you only have one at a certain company, they may not let you take it right down to fire/theft only because they would require you to have accident benefits on it if that is your only vehicle with them
Just keep them together and don't worry about a couple of bucks difference because every company is taking rate increases this year and the one you switch to might jack your rate on renewal
Good luck
Matt

Yeah, i just got a quote on multi car discount thing yestuarday. I am very confuse which to choose when both are very similiar...Here are the quotes

Belair Direct: (multi car discount)
G35: $263
Camry: $121

TD: (multi car discount)
G35: $200
camry: $200

They are both very similiar. However, my mom will now be driving the camry again since the winter is over, so i will be driving the G35 again. I honestly don't know which one to choose because i want my mom to have the lowest rate possible, but on the other side i don't want to pay so much on my side. Hard decision...
