Hi all:
Well, it’s shaping up to be one hell of a week!

Speeding ticket on Monday – doing 94 in a 50 zone in the G35c. $329 - Ouch! First one of those in 3 years. Got to fight it to avoid insurance hell.

Then, on Tuesday, had my brother stop by for a quick visit, and he by accidentally backed into my car and dented the rear bumper. Minor damage, but it’s the first one that really hurts. I know a guy who can fix it on the cheap.

Then on Wednesday, my dashboard just stopped working for no apparent reason. Freaky! Both speedometer, tachometer, and signal lights would not function. After sitting idle at my office for 5 hours, everything is up and running again, however now I have the “Service Engine Soon” warning on both the dash and NAV system. Anyone hear of this problem before? I assume it’s an electrical problem of sorts. I’m due anyways to bring the car into the dealer for maintenance and snow tire removal, but wanted to check in with you all beforehand.

Did you get the board replacement done in the recall along with those headlight screws?

Hey Ed... wasn't aware there was a recall on the G35c? Can you tell me more about the board replacement. I got mine in early February. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

 

I think EdRedS is talking about the recall on the Sedans. Don't think it applies to Coupe. Check out Rumble's post:
