Rear passenger window goes down, but not up

My rear passenger window opens without any input(so, on it's own), and will not go back up when I try to close it.

I swapped the switch from the rear driver side to test if that was the problem, now the window works at it should, so i just rolled it up and disconnected the switch after closing the window and ordered a new one from rock auto, new one arrived, I swapped it in, same problem! Again I used the rear driver switch, and it worked fine.

Is it possible that the replacement switch is also bad? or something else that for whatever reason, doesn't trigger when I use the switch from the other side?

2007 G35S with auto up/down If that helps at all.

This is the part I replaced:

When you change the motor on the coupes, there is a relearn process that you have to do when this happens. not sure about the sedans.

can you give me some details on this process? I can always try.

(if you're talking about holding the switch up for 10 seconds to relearn the auto up limit, I did try that already)

so, small update, the new switch came in, same problem, but I did learn something new, the switch has an ID on the bus, so when i switch the left side to the right, the drivers control panel STILL controls the switch via the left control, no matter where it is plugged in.

So now I'm guessing that it's the master switch that is bad.

My right passenger window ( if rolled ALL the way down) also get stuck and wont go up. But If I roll it down to where 3 inches of the window is still up, then I can Roll it back up when needed. If it gets stuck , I hold up on the window up lever and give a few bangs near the door speaker...this seems to jimmy the window back up again.

infiniti G37x with Breathalyzer add on ;)
I had this exact issue

I had this exact issue and i made a youtube video on how i fixed it:

I essentially tore out the main switch on the front drivers door and got into the motherboard that controls all windows. I then took a qtip and some isopropnol alcohol and cleaned the board along with the rubber piece thats used to direct the buttons to move the windows. After i reassembled it, the window worked again.

I thought my motor was shot because there was no noise when pushing the button, HOWEVER this has hapoened to me on multiple occasions. I believe there was some dirt/moisture blocking the circuit and either preventing me from rolling up, or keeping the window on the down motion.

I hope this helps!!
