If i was planning to come to this I would suggest dont' go to earls way better places for groups of this size on the south end I might even reccomend a few on the north end that have better waitresses and better accomidate groups of +10-20 people. The Costco parking lot is a pain in the a$$ to get to and get out of more so with 7-10 vehicles I hate going there to shop simply due the hassel and traffic involved. There are several awkward intersections (with no lights) to go through getting there from the south and leaving there also has several intersections that would be hard to keep a group together and its very buisy the only good thing is the big parking lot.

The more "homo's" the better?? lol

It would be great to have lots of G/Z's but a turnout is a turnout after all. Just don't get all pissy if we ask you park away from us!

He's away on vacation, might not be online much.

Gord, bring M's car, the truck, I'll pick you up, or whatever, but definitely come on out. (and by 'out' I don't mean that kind of 'coming out' - no homo!)

You name it I change it. Like I said I don't know anything about RedDeer other than they give out side window tint tickets really easy!

Holy fvck you guys are watching this thread like hawks.

I am not planning the meet nor do I want to I know it sounds like I am being a d!ck but its a bit of work to plan a meet with logistics like we in Alberta deal with.

In order to have any where I would suggest you guys would need directions or a map if your not fimiliar with RedDeer......Sorry at this point I am not interested in my car at all or mapping things out. I will give a few names of meeting spots and places to eat but I am not mapping them out so you might be best going with what you have.

Meeting spots Anywhere on gasoline alley is better than costco. Harley Davidson, Leons are better most gas stations would be better there is a Mcdonalds with a big parking lot on the east side of Gasoline alley. Off gasoline alley either Canadian Tire of The Westerner would be better.

To eat at Bo's on Geatz south is good (thats where Dustin was refurring to where i took him) Toad and Turtle is good its on the very south end. On the North Wild Bills road house (its in the North Hill INN) is good and has a huge parking lot right off Geatz by the New Nissan dealershipthis could also be the meeting place as well since it has a big parking lot. A few suggestions like I said I have 0 interest in planning this but I do want you guys to enjoy it. My buddy that has a 500whp 240sx just called me I asked him (i am overly negative about everything so I thought a 2nd opinion was in order) what he thought of the Costco parking lot as a meeting spot he agreed its not a good spot, he also thought Earls wouldn't be good for a group of this size. Hope that helps you guys.

Good stuff, Gord. Nobody's asking you to plan, we'll do the directions and mapping and stuff (okay, Adam will) we're just way short on local knowledge.

I didn't know there was a Toad and Turtle, I like that idea, how's parking there? Somebody else mentioned the Westerner to me.

LMAO at your avatar message...I'm starting to believe it! Couple more years and you'll make a fine Crabby Old Fart.

i wont be the homo in a truck this year. I will be leaving you behind this time. Gord won't need a couple years to be a crabby old fart he has got it down pretty good right now. Are we sure we dont want to be some where on gaetz or even in sylvan then go for eats. Maybe Gord will visit if we are close to his place. I say met in sylvan where we did last year then cruise to rd for food.

Edmonton guys we can meet in leduc or the visitor center on calgary trail.

I honestly think the best place in RedDeer to meet is at the north hill inn/wild bills it has a big parking lot, the corner by the nissan dealer closest to gaetz ave is usually empty. Its easy to find drive down gaetz on the north end its on the west side of the road you can't miss the Nissan dealer. Sylvan might be alright I havent looked what day it is I assume saturday so Sylvan will be busy if its hot out. I know a few out of the way lounges that could accomidate us there. Up to you guys I am just throwing a few ideas out.

I'm thinking Sylvan will be busy...my vote is for Wild Bill's, sounds like the best shot at lots of parking and ease of access. Then maybe cruise to the Toad or Bo's, whichever is farther.

Adam?

Gord and Dustin: get a room.
