Well to bad the only seat time you got in a g this year is mine. Bet it seems faster then yours.LOL Well the engine i want is still for sale. might have to push mine and blow it up.

 

Wild bills is also the biggest place out of the bunch tons of seating. Have some appys and a few beer then cruise gaetz a few times or head out and cruise the strip in sylvan.

 

I bet it was nice to see your car driven to its potential


Crank it up to 14psi run 550whp it might last the summer. The way you drive it should last 4-5years.

Wild Bill's sounds like a good idea. I will edit the origional post and the second map as long as google maps knows where this place is!

As for the combined meet. I'm with Wayne in that I think we should do our thing for a bit. Get some pics done and then meet up later. After all, A nice long G/Z/GTR caravan would be a super sweet entrance! And free BBQ is always a plus! Soaks up some of the beer!

Looks like we might lose some of the GT-Rs to the Nissan Meet happening the same weekend.

I'm all for doing our own thing, but free food?? We could split off and do our own thing when they all go on their cruise, or sooner.

I'm just thinking about getting the largest number of cars and people all happy and willing to come out.

 

Maybe he'll be at the Alberta Nissan Meet?

I think the ONLY reason to have a meet is to get together with the guys you talk with on the net day in and day out and meet them face to face thats the only reason I would come. I am not saying there is no place for multi forum meets or this case a shop holding a BBQ. I have been to nissan meets before and I have been to meets with just the G Driver guys. Its not the same at all, the Driver guys are a really good bunch of guys that all have the same platform in common you throw a bunch of random people in there it loses the coheasion IMO. I would rather have 10 Driver/my350z guys than 30 nissan guys we don't know or will ever see again.

If you guys wanted Cam from Lightspeed to do anything for you...you would have to contact him he is not on this board as far as I know. He has offered in the past to put on a BBQ for the G/Z guys someone would have to contact him though. He has done meets for the Nissan-Enthusiest-Car-Club and the Subaru guys and I know he doing lots of work on V35/Z33s lately so I am sure he would love to do something for us. I can talk with him tonight I will see him, I will mention it to him but someone else with have to makes plans with him if he is interested. I think the way this meet is going it would be better to ask him another time especially with another shop in RedDeer doing a BBQ he likely wouldn't pull a move like that.

 

^^+1 we should just do our own thing. It would be nice just to meet some of the guys that were not on here last year. We had a good meet last year and im sure it will be the same thing this year. Free food is not enough for me to go to another shop's meet.

 

Thanks sylvan. I wasn't sure if cam was a g/z owner or a forum member.. I guess I just assumed he was a owner and would just come and meeting at his shop would be just a thing to do... I stand corrected. I figure we will just do our own thing and perhaps just do a drive by at the end. It's all good. We can play it by ear. I'll be happy just to be out!

 

That was going to be a suggestion for a meeting place but it is hard to find. i guess in the age of google maps nothing is that hard to find. I forgot to ask him last night. If you guys want to meet there I could ask him let me know.
