Electric Impact 2/3 off at CT!
Asad, good call on the 'removing only'. I can't comment on that specific floor jack, but I do have this one from Princess and these jack stands and all work suitably, though the jack stands could use a narrower saddle or some sort of insert. I'm thinking of cutting/grinding mine to fit better.
As for putting the car on jack stands, the way I do it (and I can't vouch for correctness here) is to use the floor jack under the differential, lift the whole rear and place the jack stands under the pinch welds -- that's where the manual tells you to place the OEM jack. You could also lift each side individually and place a jack stand, but IMO it would tend to lift unevenly and twist the car. For the front I usually use Rhino ramps but there is also a central jack point under the front.
Experienced guys, correct me if I'm getting it all wrong here.

. I was looking at the jack you linked (went before checking your post) and it was really light, I liked it alot but was concerned about being only 3k lb rating, but it is reassuring it is fine with your setup. I think I will go pick it up the equivalent one from CT (looks to be probably the same distributor) since PA is a ~20 minute drive.

Asad, I figure if the jack's good for 3000lb and the whole car only weighs 3400ish, lifting one end should not be too big a load. That said, it wouldn't hurt to go a little heftier if you find a good sale. Also, it helps that it's relatively low profile so can get under our cars...well, most of our cars.
A little more travel would be useful, too, I find it lifts only enough to get my carcass under there, and not much more.

Hey Swivel....
Now that you put me onto this new tool;
You know you just forced me to look for a few more mods to make it worthwhile.
...Daymn, this is going to be one expense impact wrench.
