Wayne, your link in the first post seems to be dead now.

I can fine a 7.5 amp 1/2" drive for $50 online. That's not the one though is it?

^that's the one to get.

As for putting the car on jack stands, the way I do it (and I can't vouch for correctness here) is to use the floor jack under the differential, lift the whole rear and place the jack stands under the pinch welds -- that's where the manual tells you to place the OEM jack. You could also lift each side individually and place a jack stand, but IMO it would tend to lift unevenly and twist the car. For the front I usually use Rhino ramps but there is also a central jack point under the front.

Experienced guys, correct me if I'm getting it all wrong here.
Thanks for the info, really helpful . I was looking at the jack you linked (went before checking your post) and it was really light, I liked it alot but was concerned about being only 3k lb rating, but it is reassuring it is fine with your setup.

I think I will go pick it up the equivalent one from CT (looks to be probably the same distributor) since PA is a ~20 minute drive.

Good advice, AD.

Asad, I figure if the jack's good for 3000lb and the whole car only weighs 3400ish, lifting one end should not be too big a load. That said, it wouldn't hurt to go a little heftier if you find a good sale. Also, it helps that it's relatively low profile so can get under our cars...well, most of our cars. A little more travel would be useful, too, I find it lifts only enough to get my carcass under there, and not much more.
