I caved... and ordered the PC from Eshine.ca

Im selling my car, but I really wanted to compound it before I sold it... because I dont want to sell my car to someone and later on have them think I didnt look after it.

I got the PC with the Orange, yellow, 2 white and a black pad. Also ordered the 105 and 205 compound. Comes in Wednesday... might have to take thursday off hahahaha.

Last time I did my car (last fall) after the Menzerna IP (106ff) I did the Mother's 3-step using the PC. Came out pretty nice -- certainly enough to help a sale -- but I can't help thinking it might have been nicer with more pro-level products. No expert here, but if you are 'compounding' (i.e. with something pretty abrasive) keep in mind you may need a polish in between that and the Mother's to get rid of any hazing or whatnot from the compound.

My paint is kinda swirly again so it's time to hit it with the PC soon. I'll have a bit more time in August for that.

I haven't used the megs one but I have heard pretty good things.

The mothers one was ok but I wouldn't use it again, better off with megs or some Zaino products.

And that carnauba they call 100% is actually like 12% haha

I've only used my PC once on my boat and I have had it for a few years. I loaned it out to one guy and I am sure he did at least a dozen cars with it.
