Thumbs up Marriage......

Hello,

This is for anybody who has already gotten married or is in the process.
Is anybody here taking marriage classes.
If so where.

Preferably in the GTA.

The best class you can ever take is to go on a vacation for 2 weeks with just her . If you can live through that getting used to each other ,you can live through anything.

Classes will teach you little to nothing . Besides who teaches them , priests who have never been married?

but it is mandatory before you get married.

It was a lot of years ago but my wife and I went to one class. We then decided the stuff was way too basic and better suited for some of the other youngsters in the class, and skipped all remaining classes.

I never heard of marriage classes

My wife and I were self-taught, worked great . Been married 39 years now.

Oh yeah, I remember now Deane. You just tweaked one of my failing memory banks and it did come back to me. We did go to one or two classes at the United Church.
That was a lonnnngg time ago.

You and H must have passed with honors Deane because you two are a great couple

Thanks. You guys must also have passed magna *** laude.

I remember our minister wasn't too happy I was "too busy" to make the meetings. LOL

ya its seems to be mandatory in the catholic church too, my sister had to do the course but her and her husband like going to church for some reason.... i am a black sheep i guess.
