Is it possible to change the Electronic Speed Limiter?

I want to limit my car to 150km/h. Is it possible?

If so, would I be able to have a switch to enable/disable it? I can then have a special keypad installed to delimit it when I need to hit the track or DYNO etc.

WHY? well.. maybe because I have 0 points left on my record and even a single extra point will result in my insurance skyrocketing after a 30 day suspension. Not to mention, if i was going 50km/h+ , all sorts of other **** can happen.

I noticed, during quick overtakes and other quick sprints during emergency lane changes, i'm at 160km/h easily... and it just scares me so i usually hit the brakes and bring her down to 120ish

I have never raced my G and i don't intend on doing that either.

Is it possible ... yes.
But the way you want it with a key switch... not possible.

It's a software function, which requires ECU changes.

BTW.. looking forward to seeing your new setup.

You can get the car tuned with Uprev Osiris and have 1 of your 5 maps set to limit your speed. The maps can be switched on the fly, and the car will not change maps (even if you turn it off) until you manually change it.

I have a performance, stock, economy, valet, and anti theft maps. The valet limits the vehicle speed to 30mph, and the anti theft does not allow the car to rev past 1200rpm (or something like that). When I was getting it tuned, they had a variety of different map options to choose from, along with whatever custom functions I wanted added in.

ARE YOU SERIOUS!! this is awesome.... i'm checking this product out now! My buddy had something exactly like this on his S6, except, he had to manually hook up this portable handheld device to the OBD-II and retune the different settings each time.

Even if i have to do that, i wouldn't mind.... this is just perfect. hopefully its afforable! :P
