I actually saw a 135 for the first time in person just a few weeks ago. I was never a fan of the styling from the pics I saw, and pretty much my same thoughts were carried over when I saw it in person. I just plain didn't care for the looks of it, something about it looked odd in an ugly duckling kinda way.....if that even makes sense. I'm sure it's a beast performance wise, but if I don't like the look of the car, performance means nothing to me.

 

That video reminds me of how bad Best Motoring drivers are horrible at drag racing but that's ok they're vicious at the track. People have put up better times than the times posted in that video that goes for all the cars. You should see what the N54 can do with a tune

 

might have good performance but its like 3 series circumsized !

 

I hear that my 335 with the JB3 tune and Map 7 is ludicrously quick for a daily driver...that's what I hear anyway.

 

I still want the 135i...

 

i love them, i'm actually ordering one very soon; BSM w/ coral red, premium, sport m, CA, iPod and smart phone integration, heated seats

also getting kw v2, csl wheels, and jb3. dont bother w/ dinan, too expensive and by far not the best system out for the N54

lots of people dont like the looks but i love it, if they still made G35s I would never buy another another car other than a G35, its by far one of the best looking car on the road. Sadly the same cant be said for the G37, IMO is plain ugly. they totally killed the looks, they made it look too soft.

My opinion - it's not that the 1-series doesn't look good...it's just that the 3 looks sooooooooooo good. Completely unbiased of course.

 

The 3 series coupe def looks amazing.

 

For the price of the dinan chip I'm surprised more people don't go stand alone.

If it comes to Canada with the 35i engine, and a 6 speed (which I heard) I am sooo getting going to wait and buy it!

 

id say get the 335i it looooks soooo muuch better then then 135! 335i is good enough stock let alone dinan. just look into the interior. i have a friend with a 325i e36 and he is really into bmws and he said that he was in one of his friends 335i and her bmw was really ugly on the inside and it still shares a few parts from the old 3 series like the pedals and such. he also said that a chipped 335i felt as fast as my G Turboed wen i was running 5psi so just with a chip they are pretty fast. if you have to chose 335i vs 135i go with the 335i!!! all i see is women in the 135i lol not being sexist just an observation lol
