Swivel Gets Lucky!!
You don't have to be very fast to beat me on a Friday afternoon, easpecially this week.
Near as I can tell, my brain turned to tapioca pudding sometime Tuesday morning.
I may be slow, but I've got a fat HDD attached to my DVR as well (neener, neener) - no more capacity issues.
I felt pretty good about it till Swivel rolled out 2TB (and threatened 4TB) to my 1TB.
I feel so... inadequate.

So I'm watching Game 2 of the World Series on 52 inches of LED-backlit goodness in 5.1 surround. It's just like being there, but without the weak beer.

You should never watch baseball on it though. The images move so slowly and change so rarely that it'll burn Yankee pinstripes into your screen after you fall asleep.

Hey you finally got it! ...the new TV that is.
That must be sweet Wayne.
....I'm afraid to even walk through Bestbuy et al these days and check these puppies out,
it would probably be a costly trip.

Its arrival is timely, my son's 11th birthday is tomorrow (yes, he was born in the dark, early hours of Halloween) so he and four of his homies are comin' over this afternoon and plan to watch some Star Trek. Too bad the new movie is not out until Nov 17.
Ian, I know what you mean about expensive trips to the electronics store; it's so hard to resist all the cool toys. I'll be asking Santa for a Harmony remote!

Ummm, doubtful. Probably the cheap (?) 670, same as we have for the main floor setup. About $118.

I sure am, Shane, and the price was definitely right!!

I have one of the very early models (no longer in use)
It was OK, but I'm sure they're a lot better now.
One thing I didn't like, was not having control to setup the screen buttons the way I wanted.
They just went to default assignments.
One screen would have e.g. (fastforward + pause); then (rewind + play) might be on a different screen.
Meanwhile.... both screens had inactive buttons with no function assigned.
If they've fixed that issue, I'd probably get a new one.

How do you like the 670?
