Trapster - Police Speed trap info - for all Smartphone Users

There is an app called Trapster on Blackberry App world. The app is for speed traps, police locations, red light cameras, etc. It seems pretty good.

If there are any bb users on here that would sign up to help build the gta network of information that would be amazing.

It is available for iphone and other smartphone users as well to download for free:

http://www.trapster.com/

If anyone uses it, or a similar app, please post your comments!!!

Users with the app send a notification with the location and then its uploaded to the map. Its supposed to be in real time so...

This is the reason I posted, so if we can get more users Ill be more comfortable with the accuracy of the reports

...Done.

You can't change them after someone has replied with a post.
After that, the forum moderator has to make the change.

I signed up to this a while ago, at least 2 years. It didn't have many spots on it but now it seems to have alot more. There's alot of spots listed near where I live and not many people live out here (Carlisle). Must be catching on, thanks for the heads-up

^ how do you find it to use?

If it's supposedly 'real time', doesn't it chew up a lot of your data allocation $

It's pretty cool. I'm using it on a Blackberry Bold. I used it on my way to work today and it warns you when you're approaching a known speed trap. It could use abit of work, but it's definitely headed in the right direction.

As for the data use, I think it would but I'm just going to use it when I'm in areas that I'm not really familiar with.
