CounterAct Electronic Rust Protection System

Just Wondering if anyone has installed one of these in their Vehicles ? and if it works ? I was thinking about getting one of these before winter gets here. because inhibitors leave grease and also smell, I am leaning towards this technology as oppose to the traditional method.. Any suggestion?

Sorry, updated the link and it should work now. I have not used these guys nor do I know what product they use. I use Krown in Waterloo, but they seem to have good feedback.

If I had an amphicar I might consider this. Do a quick google for info or read some of these threads:
http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/b...cessories-f59/

Go for Krown, there's a group buy for bout $80 on now in the RFD forum, might be the first thread in the link above. GL

Don't get the electronic one, does not work. Researched it a few years ago.
My vote goes for Rust Check first and Krown next. Get either one, you can't go wrong..

Everything I've found supports that too. My dad put one on his Frontier and all it does is drain the battery if he leaves it more than a week or so.

anyone use MotorWorX.ca for rustproofing?
$80 seems like a good deal and they don't drill holes

I'd be interested in the Krown groupbuy. Anyone have a link? I couldn't find it on Redflag Deals.

I didn't find any deals in our area when I did the G and my wife's V. I used the Krown in Waterloo. My garage sent my jeep beater to the one on Sheldon St. in Cambridge to get it done. All in the 120 to 130 range. The V got a "special" glass treatment for free . There are other Oil Sprays that are available for less $. Depends on what you want for your money. FWIW, I'd go with Krown or Rust Check. Ziebart maybe.
