Favorite Song to Cruise To...
Just wondering what music people prefer to cruise to:
Personally I find hip hop is best for city/stop and go traffic while I prefer house or electronica for highway driving.
Hiphop: Always Strapped - Birdman/Lil Wayne
House: Old Tiesto or Tiesto's Club Life on Sirius 38 Area

lots of stuff. 50 mission cap by the Hip used to be a default, as did house music or drum & bass mixes. you can pop that stuff in and just drriiiiiiiiive. now, thanks to mp3 or 6-disc changers random mixes suit me best. anything from kanye to dave mathews to metric...i don't rule too much out. just not rap, country, r&b, pop.
My favorite driving tunes right now are:
Talking Heads - I Want to Live
Judas Priest - Victim of Changes
The Killers - Spaceman
Kiss - She's So European
Thin Lizzy - Little Girl In Bloom
To each his\her own...

I'll represent the country crowd...
Big & Rich - Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)
Luke Bryan - You Make me Want to
Dierks Bentley - Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)
Toby Keith & Willie Nelson - Beer for My Horses
I like some good hip hop and dance tunes, too, but sometimes you just gotta have a fiddle in the band...

I also am partial to Tiny Bill Cody and his song about Sheila Copps a Hamiliton native and politician...called "If Hamilton Were A Country Song". Aired originally on CBC radio. Very funny. Anyone wishing a copy PM me very hard to find.
