Swivel hips and I did a trade awhile ago and he gave me some Amsoil signature series i am going to try.

I think Lloyd told me he used to use the Mobile 1 when he had a G35 and it would burn 1L between oil changes he quit using the Mobil 1 and it quit burning oil i have never heard anything good about Mobil 1 myself so i avoid it. Most guys I know with expensive engines use Motul, Amsoil or Royal Purple and I know a couple that use the Mobil 1 euroblend.

If they are trying to change how they are viewed they should close the service departments or quit hiring the worlds scabbyest mechanics. I was away at work in Alaska once, and the water pump on my wifes car went she took it to Crappy Tire after they were done it was no longer running. They called her to come pick it up it ran so bad she couldn't get it out of the parking lot they never said hey there is something seriously wrong with your car or it runs like **** just come get it and they charged her for the new water pump and a new timing belt see you later and while it was stuck there it the parking lot one of the wheels got stolen off it. I had a real mechanic look at it he said the timing was set wrong causing the valves and pistons to meet....awsome. I went in with the real mechanics bill and they were going to reimburse me until i said i wanted them to pay for the new head and installation all of the sudden it wasn't there fault. Then they went and got the mechanic so he could tell me how he did things proper..... and that little grease ball dosent know how close to a trip to the hospital he came. I filed a complaint with HO and never heard from them again. i tell that story as often as i can and especially to people in the store. But basically anyone one that knows anything about cars wouldn't let anyone that works at Crappy Tire service dept even put air in the tires.****end rant****

100% with you there, Gord, I cringed to even let them mount and balance the last set of tires on the wife's Expedition. To get their hands on my car, they'd have to kill me. Twice.

Yea even though I get employee discount I would never take my car to their auto dept, I've said numerous times they need to stop hiring co-op students to work on cars!

The guy that posted it is from Vancouver and his sig says "West Coast".

The only person I have ever heard call Canadian Tire Cambodian Tire is from the West Coast hence my comment.

I haven't a clue what the association is with Cambodia.

Your right my bad I think I looked at the wrong post. Like I said here is the only place I have ever heard it maybe its a Vancouver thing but I have never heard any other westcoasters call it that maybe its the OPs own term.

FYI I wasn't wearing my glasses, but it sure looked like Mobile 1 is on sale once more. 4.4 for $35.
