Hmmmm... keep me posted! Perhaps something I might be able to use in lieu of a bumper and sides... I think a nice turbo setup might help people look past the fact that my car has neither lol

Welcome to the forum, I think i paid around $15,000 for JWT TT installed, that was about 3years ago so it might be less with the dollar being much stronger than it was back then. I think the kit is $8,000 and labor is 40hrs @ $125/hr thats all guesses off the top of my head. Expect $15,000 it would likely be less but if i said $12,000 and it was $15k you would be choked at me. There is another guy from Calgary that got a JWT TT kit installed at Lightspeed last summer he could give a more accurate cost but I can't remember his screen name. If he still lurks here maybe he could chime in to give a more accurate cost.

Not gonna make it up tomorrow night, guys, but have fun, red...doing the stuff, with the thing, at the place...you know.

Also LMK if you get a chance to grab that other thing from the guy and bring it to the place and leave it with the other guy.

Yup. Thanks re: the other thing. Like I've said, no rush, I'd rather see your car running than either of those things.

Eh Red... The shop I took them to to get painted decided they couldn't install the bumper and sides... said that because they're aftermarket they weren't sure they could make it fit properly. Okay... well, glad they did before screwing it up but now I'm in a bind... Who the frick installs this stuff? I see you did yours- how hard is it?!

It's not that hard. It's more scary trying to pull the stock skirts off then putting the new ones on. I would pull the stock ones off install the aftermarket ones to see how they fit and make any tweaks you can. Then bring them in to get painted then throw them back on. It's really not that bad.

Someone from an autobody shop here in town recommended a place called "Adrenaline Imports." Ever heard of them?

And Red: Got them painted already... Everything is painted- just need to get it mounted. I'm a chicken- don't think I'll be doing that on my own... not without duct tape.

Mounting is very easy are the holes predrilled? I did mine in under an hour with pre drilled holes.

I don't think so, sylvan... my impression from the guys doing it is that both the bumper and sides are a pretty basic mould - I'm picking it up tomorrow... maybe I can take some photos and you can see. I'm heading to LSI on Wednesday morning... probably have the unit there for a couple days. Anyone else able to join in the shenanigans?

They either bolt on or they don't there is no magic to it, unless they have horrible fitment then they never should have been painted until after they fitted and adjustments were made. Red and i both installed ours and it was not that difficult but I bought authentic Nismo and he bought authentic Greddy so the fitment was good. What did type did you buy and who did you get them from? It is odd that a body shop would not be able to put them on? i hope they fit without major adjustments or you may need to have them painted again!!

I should be able to make it weds are you hanging out all day, are you staying in RedDeer overnight? I might work on my engine at LSI weds night usually I do it at 8:00pm or so if I go there. Often a bunch or car guys go for wings on weds night as well if your there overnight.
