picked up my used 05g35coupe SS 5AT last Wednesday and noticed today that the spoiler brake light is not working. There's also no trunk light inside the cabin. Is this normal? How do I enable the spoiler light?

I have the same problem, i have an 04 Sedan and i believe that the spoiler is factory installed and the brake light inside there isnt working either...i heard something about having to get the whole light replaced and other times I hear about LED warranty being lifetime...anyone know what I should do?

 

check the wiring, it may have been pinched when the trunk was full. I had tis happen to me. Filled up the trunk and when it closed the harness got sliced in half.

 

When you say SS... what are you talkin' about?

Take it to the dealer and ask them if it's warranty. If not take it to Simone performance and get Vic to fix it.

 

Maybe previous owner was a big chevy fan!

A few years ago, I had a similar issue with my sedan. Apparently, the entire wiring harness was installed incorrectly from the factory. I lost my rear brake lights, trunk light and spoiler light.
The car was under waranty at the time and had the entire harness replace. It took the dealer two days to do the replacemnent.
Now I'm haing an issue with the trunk light again. It comes on when the trunk is half open When its open fully, the light will go off. Sounds like the harness is pinching again. I'll wait till the spring to crawl into the trunk again.

 

Sounds like I'll be calling Vic at Simone's. Does anyone know though if the spoiler light would still be under warranty? it's a 2005.
