Lowering and Spacer questions

Hi There. I'm thinking on buying a 25mm Ichiba v2 spacers to put in my 05 coupe. Has anyone had any problems with them on stock Suspension? Eventually I'd like to put in Tein basic lowering springs also.

1. Does anyone know of any issues with these set up?
2. How much did you pay for yours and what's a good price for them and installation.
3. Where in the GTA would I be able to purchase these and have them installed?

A local shop was quoting me $360 to lower the car and put in the spacers. I provide the parts. This service includes alignment. Is that a good price?

Thanks in advance!

Spacers you should have no problems with

Lowering springs- you have springs and coilovers mixed up. Basics are coilovers, while Teins lowering springs are called H-tech and S-tech

For a shop to install all 4 springs, and an alignment id say is a fair price.

Thanks for the clarification, Karma.. I'm showing my noobiness. hehe

Yes make that H-Tech and S-Tech. I'm assuming one's lower than the other?

So if I put in Spacers and lower the car about 1.1in, I woudn't have issues with rubbing in wells?

Another noob question: I didn't realize there was only a pair of spacers in a package. Is it advisable to run same size spacers althroughout or should it be different front & rear? If so what size is everyone running?

Thanks all!

I called Vic and he said he can install them but I have to buy my own parts. Where would you recommend I buy the springs & spacers from?

Very cool. Maybe a few North GTA folks could get together for a small meet sometime... Can't wait for spring, man!

By the way Vic@Simoneperformance is asking $360 to install springs and spacers plus alignment. I bring in the parts. It sounds alot just for installation and alignment, doesn't it?

isn't a alignment usually at-least $150?? plus labor to compress spring and put in the new ones doesn't seem like a bad price since its at a specialty shop... i would do it.

360 for springs, spacers & alignment seems good to me.
...be sure to mention G35Driver.

That $360 only includes the labour. All the parts I have to buy separately.

Another shop (Speedstar) quoted me, taxes in:

Tein S-Tech Spring SKP30-AUB00 F-1.2/R-0.9: $257.70

Tein H-Tech Spring SKP30-BUB00 F-0.6/R-0.3: $270.57

Installation: $150.00

Alignment: $110.00

Pair H&R DRM 25mm Spcaer: $198.75

Question: Which springs do I get? S-Tech or H-Tech? and are the H&R DRM spacers any good?
